ZOMA Fitness Fundraiser Raises €21,680 for Daffodil Day

Award-winning digital marketing agency ZOMA has announced a landmark achievement for their third annual Daffodil Day fundraiser, raising a staggering €21,680.08 for the Irish Cancer Society.

Exceeding all its previous fundraising records, the ZOMA team and the Dundalk community came together to tackle the 1,300km challenge. The event took place on the rooftop of ZOMA’s headquarters at 82 Park Street, where participants cycled, rowed, and skied from 7am til 9pm to bridge the 1300km distance in a small act of solidarity with those affected by cancer.

The final total of €21,680.08 was made possible through a multi-faceted fundraising effort, including significant contributions from corporate sponsors, individual participants, a GoFundMe campaign, and a dedicated bucket collection held on Park Street throughout the entire day.

“Honestly, we’ve been blown away by the response to this year’s challenge,” said David Kieran, CEO of ZOMA. “Raising over €21,600 just shows how supportive people are. All of this could not have been done without the support from our corporate partners. Seeing the community show up to our HQ on Park Street and fill our rooftop from morning to night was something special. It really has now become an annual event in people's diaries.”

The atmosphere on the day was powered by the support of local partners. Lá Eile was on-site to keep participants fueled with refreshments and coffee, while everyone taking part proudly wore stunning, bespoke Daffodil Day jerseys provided by Macron Ireland.

The funds raised will go directly to the Irish Cancer Society, supporting vital free services, night nursing, and life-saving research for patients and their families across the country. Having grown the fundraiser from €12,777 in its first year to over €50,400 in total across 3 years, the ZOMA team is already looking forward to making next year’s Daffodil Day an even bigger date for the Dundalk community.
