We sat down as a team and highlighted 25 websites (for the day that's in it the 25th of Feb) that really stood out to us, reviewing websites across a range of sectors and industries both locally, nationally and internationally. See below what has inspired us!
The Hendrick Smithfield
The Hendrick Smithfield – where style meets substance. This is not only the case for their accommodation, but also their website. Their site is a joy to scroll through with bold images, contrasting colours and a clear brand message throughout.
STATSports
STATSports is the world's leading GPS player tracking company. Their website also leads the way in terms of imagery, user friendliness, prominent call to actions and a bold dark colour palette.
The Flora Lab
Hand-poured natural wax candles, botanical wax melts and exciting, floralabulous scents all portrayed beautifully on the Shopify platform. A scent of website success. A great example of how a small start up can portray themselves effectively online.
Imelda May
This is how you showcase a personal brand like a singer, sportsperson, celebrity etc. Amazing imagery, bold phrasing, revolutionary menu and distinctive text and colours - this site draw your eyes in straight away. We love it and Imelda.
Fulfil Nutrition
Oh how we love contrasting and bold colours and black and yellow is as bold as it gets. User engagement is created straight away with their eye catching opening graphic and excellent product shots. Can we get a box of bars right away.
Multihog
Engaging images, clear product shots and a flowing site makes us want to jump into the Multihog and take it for a test drive. Simple and effective design with large banner images is key to the success of this site.
Redlane Boutique
We love this fashionable and trendy site. It stands out in the Irish boutique industry not only because of it's high ranking but also how pleasing to the eye it is. A must see for anyone in the e-commerce and fashion industry.
Inis Meáin Knitting Co.
The story of the Aran Islands and Inis Meain Knitting Co. is wonderfully portrayed on their site. You get a sense of unique, handmade, high quality, premium clothing from the moment you land on their site.
Craftstudio Architecture
Craftstudio specialise in innovative, contemporary architecture and this style is apparent in their website design. Images and designs that jump out at you it's a joy to scroll through this site.
Eden One Spa
You get the feel from the site alone that this is definitely Dublin's finest health club and spa. With a strong and distinct logo, dark colour palettes and classy imagery, the site makes you want to click book now right away.
Chilly's Bottles
Chillys is a revolutionary reusable bottle, specifically designed for an active urban lifestyle (which ZOMA loves). Their site displays this style and brand message in such an effective way that we are at add to cart without even realising!
Teelings Distillery
"Unconventional Irish Whiskey". Teelings are renowned for their vision of doing things differently and their website speaks this. Cool graphics, unusual fonts and dark colour palettes make this website stand out to any user.
Cafe en Seine
Renowned for its five-star service, they have a five-star website to go with the brand. A contrasting colour palette, classy images and brilliantly executed graphics, the site makes you want to to take a seat here right away.
Indigo & Cloth
An online store for curated contemporary menswear, lifestyle goods and homeware. This site is so bold with its design it takes us to the edge of our seat. Site wide slider graphics with a compressed homepage design, make the ergonomics of this site frightening.
Abington Design House
Abington Design House specialise in creating handmade bespoke custom joinery and furniture and their site matches their bespoke approach. Site wide image banners, sticky navigations and breathtaking imagery make us want to scroll, scroll, scroll!
Carpe Omnia
A premium lifestyle brand with a premium Shopify e-commerce website. One of our favorite stores to follow and admire not only for their design, but also for how they market their site across their social platforms. A must follow!
Discover Ireland
Discover this website, then Ireland! An award winning site, we couldn't peel ourselves away from the site once we landed on it. A showcase site for web design and also for discovering Ireland. We are proud to have this site representing our beautiful country.
Gym+Coffee
Gym+Coffee has you covered from gym-sesh to weekend brunch. A creative approach for an athleisure brand, they got creative with their site Shopify site and developed a brilliant executed e-commerce model to lead you straight to checkout.
Atami Dundalk
From the first moment we landed on this site, we wanted to try Japanese food straight away. Their beautiful images, online menu options, easy navigation and excellent reviews made it an easy decision for us to try some Sushi. Next up Gyoza!
Slane Distillery
Slane Irish Whiskey celebrates the return of exceptional whiskey to Ireland's Boyne Valley. With their exceptional whiskey comes an exceptional site in terms of design. Video banners, contrasting colour palettes and rich images makes this site premium in our eyes.
Dog Day Media
Specialising in film and animation, Dog Day Media showcase their portfolio in a wonderful way. You can easily navigate through their site, flicking from video to video, not realising the time go by. A must view.
Lounge Lizard
Wow! Wow! Wow! That landing page graphic. Replay, replay, replay. An amazing portrayal of web design, graphic design and animation. It's inspired us with some of our graphics and sites and I doubt we are the only ones!
Bellman Agency
Another agency to inspire our designs. Their video and animations are top-class and they are represented brilliantly across their whole site. Their branding is strong and their messaging is consistent throughout the site. That tagline "brand by Bellman" - Sweet!
Apple
The design experts. Where better to look for web design inspiration than Apple. A seamless transition from section to section, contrasting colours, amazing imagery and bold headings make this site a joy to land on.
Beats By Dre
A minimalist style website design purposely developed to make their product and images jump out from the screen to the user. It also adds an element of class and prestige to the brand - making their product scream "premium".
