Challenge.
WuXi Biologics, a global leader in biologics technology, faced the monumental task of scaling its Irish operations at an unprecedented pace. Their primary challenge was a massive recruitment hurdle: hiring over 300 highly specialised employees in a single year. Relying on traditional recruitment agencies would have incurred astronomical "per-head" placement fees, potentially costing the firm millions. Beyond recruitment, they required a strategic partner capable of capturing the sheer scale of their high-spec facilities and managing a complex, multi-national brand narrative across several continents and a diverse range of corporate events.

Strategy.
Part 01: The Digital Recruitment Strategy
To bypass the high-cost recruitment agency model, ZOMA built a direct-to-candidate Digital Recruitment Ecosystem. We developed a bespoke, high-conversion career microsite specifically designed to streamline the applicant journey and filter for high-quality CVs. To fuel this platform, our production team created over 100 recruitment videos. These weren't just standard corporate clips, they were compelling, human-centric stories showcasing staff members, the benefits of the WuXi Biologics culture, and the genuine work-life balance afforded to employees. We went beyond the lab, telling stories that resonated with candidates' lives outside of work. When combined with precision-targeted LinkedIn Advert campaigns, this strategy created a high-velocity funnel that delivered a consistent stream of elite talent directly to the HR team.

Part 02: Global Video Production & Site Overviews
ZOMA serves as the strategic marketing partner for WuXi Biologics’ global infrastructure. Our video production team manages massive, multi-week video shoots that require meticulous planning, including our crew getting fully gowned in heavy PPE to capture the high-tech, sterile environments within the facilities. Our work for WuXi Biologics knows no borders, we have captured cinematic site overviews and corporate content in Ireland, Germany, and Washington D.C. Furthermore, ZOMA is on-site for every major cultural and corporate milestone, producing high-impact coverage for Engineering Week, Women in STEM, International Women’s Day, Multicultural Day, and World Earth Day, ensuring the firm's global values are communicated with visual excellence.

Part 03: Global Video Production & Site Overviews
As the strategic marketing partner, WuXi Biologics utilises every department within ZOMA to support their daily operations. Our design studio handles the full spectrum of their visual requirements in Ireland, from complex award entries and press releases to event banners, social media assets, flyers, and internal communications. We act as a seamless extension of their internal team, ensuring that every piece of localised marketing or PR material meets the rigorous standard of quality expected of such a large biologics company while adhering to their global brand identity.

Our video production and design support have provided WuXi Biologics with a unified, high-authority brand presence that spans three continents. This holistic approach has transformed their digital authority, making them a top-of-mind employer for global STEM talent while ensuring their corporate social responsibility and engineering achievements are celebrated on a world stage.
Our partnership with WuXi Biologics has also redefined the commercial efficiency of their corporate recruitment and brand management. By implementing the direct-to-candidate microsite and video strategy, ZOMA helped WuXi Biologics hire over 300 staff members in a single year, saving the company approximately €1.2 Million in external recruitment fees that would have otherwise been paid to agencies at a rate of €4k–€5k per employee.
