Alongside website development and commercial guidance, one of the most exciting aspects of working with a football club as a marketing agency are kit launch campaigns. When your own logo is on the front of the shirt, it makes it extra special and these campaigns are now among our favourite projects to work on each year. From the first one that we worked on, the 2025 campaign titled “A New Era” that featured a Godzilla-esque Daryl Horgan looming over Oriel Park, to the 2026 iteration, “The Town Remains” featuring local viral artist, Reggie, we have generated hype around kits and a club that needed a boost to return to where they belong, at the top end of the League of Ireland Premier Division.
With the centenary anniversary of Dundalk FC’s first appearance in the League of Ireland occurring mid-season in 2026, we produced another exciting promo campaign titled “A Century In The Making” that recapped the passion of the fanbase that has lasted through those 100 years and launched the limited edition Centenary Kit that Dundalk wore on August 21st against Galway United, exactly 100 years to the day since that first league game.
Dundalk FC are not just one of the most successful clubs in Ireland, they are also our local club. After a tough year in 2024, Dundalk were relegated to the League of Ireland First Division and were on the brink of financial collapse as the season came to a close. “A poisoned chalice” is what the club was commonly referred to as in that period which is when we agreed to come on board and lend a hand to get them back to where they belong, bringing our marketing experience and sporting background to boost interest in a club that already had an incredibly passionate and loyal fanbase.
The
Results.
These campaigns were a shot in the arm for the club and its fanbase at a time when they needed it most, resulting in the 2026 edition being the fastest-selling jersey in the club’s history, helping boost the club financially when it needed it most but also building interest in a team who have backed it up with their performances in each of these seasons. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Dundalk FC into the future and helping them get back to where they belong.
