The Brief
Launched in the spring of 2020 by professional footballer Brian Gartland, Recovery Room is Ireland's leading sports recovery service, catering for athletes of all levels, amateur to elite, looking to maintain and get the best out of their body, reduce the risk of injury & perform to their maximum potential. They offer a high end sports recovery service using techniques and products used by the world’s best athletes and sports teams.
Brian approached ZOMA to assist with the development of his brand from scratch. The goal of the project was to showcase the Recovery Room as a premium, high end sports recovery service, accessible to all athletes.
Our Approach
From the brand strategy we developed a striking logo and demanded the use of bold block fonts across all socials and website to draw the attention of the user but also to showcase the importance of this service.
With the increased demand in online bookings, ZOMA developed a booking system website on the WIX platform. This platform includes a free booking app which can be used to book services and receive any updates or notifications from the business. We used dark colour palette with an intense red to create a contrast on the site. We also incorporated parallax scrolling to make it more attractive to the user.
Due to the pandemic and the affect on this service, we developed an e-commerce solution to create a new revenue stream for the Recovery Room to sell their recovery products online. We also helped secure the trading online grant for this project.
Recovery plays an essential role in sports and daily life, giving people the ability to perform at their best. Zoma’s approach to creating recovery-focused environments emphasizes how vital rest truly is.
