The Brief
NR Rubber Products manufacture & supply rubber mats and rubber products. They got in contact with ZOMA way back in 2017 looking to develop their online presence, by creating an eCommerce store for their business and to market it to an international market. We recommended the Shopify platform for their eCommerce requirements and developed a marketing strategy for their site highlighting the requirement for social media marketing, search engine marketing and content planning.
Our Approach
With a large product catalogue and a range of variants, colours and price ranges we recommended the Venture theme, a Shopify theme purpose-built for large inventory, high-volume stores. Packed with a great range of features like predictive search and being able to display the product quantity in stock, with the latter a subjective trick to boost conversions since people tend to purchase products that sell well. With all products grouped on collection pages by color swatches and price ranges, it's very easy for a customer to find a rug in the colour they want and within their budget.

With the site live we developed a digital marketing strategy for The Rug Loft including Google Ads (Text & Display), Retargeting Ads, Social Media Ads and Automated Email Campaigns. Not only did domestic business grow for NR Rubber Products, a number of large international orders and leads came in from Singapore, UAE, Eastern Europe and more. We also assisted with graphic design and brochure design highlighting their products, which were distributed out with orders and direct to business and residential doorsteps.
ZOMA also helped NR Rubber Products secure the Trading Online Voucher for their business twice.
