A recent update announced by Google concerning Google Ads:
Google is deprecating Places targeting in Custom audience segments. This change is part of their effort to maintain the highest bar for user experience and remove underutilized features.
By June 1, 2021, your Custom audience segments targeting only Places will stop serving and you will be unable to add new Place targeting. All your other Custom audience segments will continue to serve using keywords, URLs, and apps.
If you’re only targeting Places within a Custom audience segment, your segment will be automatically paused.
