The Brief

Hollywood Developments Ltd is a well established and experienced construction company with an extensive building portfolio in the North East. Located in County Louth, Hollywood Developments cover a range of sectors including private houses, housing estate developments, commercial developments and civil projects. They approached ZOMA in 2018 with little to no online presence and no content to show for their huge portfolio of projects. ZOMA developed a marketing strategy with this in mind which included a website redesign which showcased their huge portfolio, developed amazing content for their projects and marketed this content and website through an intensive digital marketing strategy on both Google AdWords & social media.

Our Approach

With any portfolio site, images and videos are integral to the success and visual appeal of the site. We sent our videographer to all sites and projects developed by Hollywood Developments to begin establishing a portfolio that we could use for the website and also for marketing the business once the website was developed. We plugged all this content into the site and as the site is built in React technology, the user is able to journey through the portfolio without it feeling like you are loading new pages.

There were quite varied amounts of content for each project, therefore we approached this with a modular content management solution, where components can be toggled on or off making sure the layouts look great regardless of the content size.

With the website live we developed a marketing strategy consisting of Google AdWord - Text Ad and Display Ads with a focus on retargeting to existing site traffic and targeting audiences that were interest in home development sites. We also ran competitions on social media to increase engagement and followers and linked up with businesses in the same industry.
