The

Challenge.

To strengthen the local economy, Carlow County Council, Carlow Tourism, and the County Carlow Chamber united to launch "Grá Carlow", a major countywide "Shop Local" initiative. The challenge was to build a brand identity that went far beyond a standard public sector logo. It needed to be highly visible, connect deeply with the community, and drive active local spending while standing out in a crowded physical and digital retail environment.

The

Solution.

After successfully winning the competitive public tender for the project, ZOMA took the creative lead in designing a custom, high-energy brand identity from the ground up. We rejected quiet, institutional designs in favor of a vibrant, playful palette featuring striking pink paired with a vivid, modern orange.
 

To support their physical presence, ZOMA produced all print materials for industry events, including brochures, pull-up banners, and large-scale exhibition displays. Finally, our production team executed multiple content shoots across Ireland to showcase their installations, which fueled a ZOMA-managed social media strategy designed to drive massive brand awareness.

The

Results.

The launch of Grá Carlow was a massive success, immediately capturing public attention and receiving national media coverage, including a prominent feature on RTÉ’s Morning Ireland. Unveiled to over 100 business and community leaders at Enterprise House, the brand has provided a strong, unified visual flag for Carlow's business community. By equipping local businesses with a bold, professional brand framework, ZOMA has helped foster genuine community pride and create an active, visually dominant buy-local movement.
